LTX-2 Pro A cinematic, impressionistic video sequence shot on 35mm film. The scene: a summer day in a country yard. It opens with an extreme close-up: sunbeams and the sharp, dancing shadows of branches on the red fur of a sleeping hare. The camera slowly drifts upward, revealing the branches of a maple tree, through which a blinding light shines. The wind, an invisible vagabond, causes the leaves to rustle and sway, creating a chaotic pattern of light and shadow. An abrupt transition to a medium shot: a crow perches on a fence. Its cawing sounds rhythmic, almost like a verse of a song. The camera slowly pulls back (dolly-out), revealing a view of an old wooden house. A man in a bright wig and clown makeup leans out of an open second-story window. He screams furiously but silently (the sound is muffled, only the wind and a crow can be heard) at a large, lazy dog lying in the shade on the grass. The dog lazily wags its tail, ignoring him. The ending: a wide shot of the courtyard, where the tranquility of nature contrasts with the man's silent hysteria. Style: poetic realism, warm, film-like colors, soft light, a sense of languid summer heat and surreal peace.
