A cinematic short video in the style of Russian protest chanson rock. It begins with a slow camera pan across a dimly lit room filled with old, battered puppets—the "grandmaster," the "tsar," and the "oprichnik"—their faces expressing smugness and pride. The camera cuts to a wide shot of the real Puppeteer, a man with a deep, tired face and piercing gaze, sitting in a chair, his fingers touching the control strings. As the music swells—104 BPM, a marching rhythm, a hoarse male tenor, a choral call, distorted electric guitar riffs—his movements become sharp and decisive. At the climax, to the sound of a dry drum click and a rising chorus, the Puppeteer rips all the strings with one powerful movement. The camera makes a quick orbit around the box, where all the puppets—the arrogant, rag-like figures—fall in chaotic disarray, their faces now blank and lifeless. The ending: a static medium shot of the deserted room, only the box and the tired Puppeteer looking away.
