A young man named Ian tells his young partner Elizabeth, who is a Latin dance partner, during a chach-chach-chach dance: "My mother would like to try to partner up with you and compete in competitions." Elizabeth responds with a half-grin and half-smile, saying to Ian, "I'm dancing at a fast pace, and your mother is in great physical shape. I'm not sure if she can handle it." Ian responds that his mother is 45 years old, a former champion, and in excellent physical condition. Then tell her that there will be no leniency, and we'll go through all five dances as if it were the final of the World Championship, and then I'll decide whether to partner with your mother, and if I do, you'll have to find another partner, because if I do, our partnership will end, and we'll break up for good.
