A cinematic short film in the style of a rock ballad with visualized lyrics. Opening: a dynamic drone shot over a vast steppe, where a kite, woven from light and shadow, furiously leaps toward the clouds. The camera follows it as it soars, its shadow gliding across the grass. A sharp cut to an extreme close-up of a boy's hand tugging on the string; each tug is synchronized with the beat of a double bass drum. The scene changes: the kite in the sky, its paper surface distorted by the force of the wind, and a flock of pigeons flies around it, filmed in slow motion. Suddenly, the wind subsides—the camera pans across the frozen clouds, then plummets downwards, taking the falling kite with it, landing silently in thorny rose bushes, turning into a helpless lump of paper and sticks. Style: hyperrealistic animation with surrealist elements, a melancholic and rebellious atmosphere, the saturated colors of the sunset sky contrast with the dull tones of the earth. The shots are interrupted by abstract inserts: vibrating guitar strings, splashes of light from cymbals, the shadows of musicians in a monochrome recording room. The final shot: a static wide shot of the steppe under a stormy sky, where a lone thread dangles in the wind, and the sound of a Hammond organ swells.
