A one-legged woman turns her back to the camera and makes her way with a moderate stride toward a gas station, moving on her single leg and crutches. She occasionally glances back slightly, her hips swaying as she moves. Her left leg has been amputated up to the base of the left buttock - a detail evident from the folds of her skirt as they flutter in the wind. With each movement, she shifts her crutches forward simultaneously, then takes a step with her only leg, the right one. The camera follows the woman, keeping her in full-body view throughout.
