Sora Prompt: @irax The Alps are insanely beautiful and incredibly high. Eisriesenwelt is the largest ice cave in the world—inside are frozen slopes, waterfalls, shimmering formations, and fields of ice. What’s fascinating is that at an altitude of about 2,000 meters, a glacier has survived to this day. The total length of the cave is 42 km and its depth is 407 meters. To keep the ice from melting, there is still no electricity inside, and we were guided through it using miner’s carbide lamps. The entrance is a grotto where everyone dresses warmly, because inside the cave the temperature stays around –1 to –2°C. There are several spots where glacial splashes have frozen beautifully at different angles. The cave ceilings—sometimes towering high, sometimes so low you must duck—and the ancient ice formations that change shape every year together create an absolutely stunning experience.
